Installation Notes
Trim-Lok edge molding simply presses onto the cut edge of the sheet metal opening. Since the molding is designed to cover the cut edge itself, installation should be completed before the window is installed.
In some applications, adhesive foam, insulation, or interior wall materials may extend too close to the cut edge. Trimming those materials back slightly can help the molding seat properly and provide a cleaner finished appearance.
