To achieve a clean all-glass exterior appearance, integrated awning functionality, and a full interior screen and shade system, this window is designed differently than a factory non-opening window. Rear cargo doors have significantly less pocket depth and added dual curvature compared to side panels, which limits how deep a feature-rich window can sit. As a result, the window will sit slightly more outward. This is a normal and intentional characteristic of the design and not a defect.
