Installation

This is a urethane-bonded window. Prep the cutout, dry-fit, clean, prime, and set with automotive glass urethane. Tape and support during cure. Do not drive until the urethane has cured per the urethane manufacturer's specs.

Mercedes Sprinter SR101 Installation Overview

Installing the SR101 passenger-side sliding door windows requires removing a portion of the inner stamped sheet metal on compatible Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans.

This installation overview applies to:

The general process is:

  1. Identify and carefully cut the required inner sheet metal from inside the sliding door when possible.
  2. File and deburr the cut edges so there are no sharp or raised areas.
  3. Prime or protect all freshly exposed steel.
  4. Install Trim-Lok edge molding over the finished sheet-metal edge.
  5. Clean all metal debris from the sliding door cavity.
  6. Dry-fit the actual SR101 window and verify complete clearance before applying automotive urethane.
  7. Verify sliding-door clearance and travel where aftermarket flares, capsules, or other exterior accessories are present.
  8. Urethane-bond the window in place and allow the adhesive to fully cure.

Important: Always verify the actual Sprinter configuration and exact SR101 window before cutting. The illustrated cut area is intended as a visual reference and not as an exact cutting template.

    Their customer support is that good.

    Van Windows Direct , please give your tech support a raise. Researching many people stated that van window direct was the best customer service , I can confirm this to be true I called no less that 6 times asking every dumb question under the sun when i was installing this wwindow first time and reallly expensive. The support team was always friendly and helpfull and never mmade me feel like i was a burden or stupid. I water tested no leaks it looks fantastic and would have never been able to with out them
