This Trim-Lok edge molding is a universal interior trim piece used to cover the exposed cut edge of the van wall panel after cutting an opening for a urethane-bonded van window. It helps create a cleaner finished appearance by masking the raw metal edge, rough cut line, or uneven interior wall edge that may be visible after installation.
This molding is not required for the window to be installed or sealed properly. The window is bonded with urethane from the exterior side of the van. However, edge molding is a nice finishing accessory for customers who want the inside of the van window opening to look more complete and professional.
Designed to Cap the Cut Van Wall Edge
The trim is designed to cap over both the inner and outer edges of the cut van wall where possible. This helps cover the exposed sheet metal edge and gives the opening a finished black textured appearance. It is commonly used on camper van conversions, cargo van upfits, DIY van builds, and replacement window installations where the factory wall panel or van body has been cut for glass.

Trim-Lok edge molding is a universal bulk trim item. The year, make, and model vehicle filter is not relevant for this product because it is not a direct-fit vehicle-specific window. We have sized and cut this molding length to work with the listed application, but final fit depends on the cut opening, wall thickness, interior panel condition, adhesive placement, and installer technique.
Because this is a flexible trim molding, minor trimming, test fitting, or adjustment may be needed during installation.
Installation Tip
In some van wall openings, the interior wall may have a small gap or the adhesive foam/backing material may sit too close to the cut edge. If the trim does not seat easily, carefully trimming back excess adhesive foam or material near the edge can help the molding slide over the cut wall more smoothly. Always test fit before final installation.
