Description
Trim-Lok Edge Molding for 1996–2026 Chevrolet Express & GMC Savana Driver Side Forward Window Opening
Finish your van window installation with a clean, professional appearance using this Trim-Lok Edge Molding for the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana driver side forward window opening. This black textured edge trim is supplied in a 12 ft length and is specifically designed to cover the exposed sheet metal edge created when cutting the van body for a urethane-bonded window installation.
While edge molding is not required for the structural installation of a van window, it is one of the most popular finishing accessories used by professional van upfitters, camper van builders, and DIY installers. The molding helps conceal exposed metal, rough cuts, paint imperfections, and uneven cut lines while creating a cleaner transition between the van wall and the installed window.
The flexible Trim-Lok design is engineered to cap over both the inner and outer wall skins of the vehicle body, helping create a cleaner and more professional appearance around aftermarket van windows.
Important: Edge molding is designed to be installed before the window is bonded into place. Because the trim covers the cut edge itself, installation becomes extremely difficult once a urethane-bonded window has been installed. For best results, install the molding immediately after completing the cutout and before applying urethane or setting the glass.

Designed for Chevrolet Express & GMC Savana Window Installations

Installation Notes
Trim-Lok edge molding simply presses onto the cut edge of the sheet metal opening. Since the molding is designed to cover the cut edge itself, installation should be completed before the window is installed.
In some applications, adhesive foam, insulation, or interior wall materials may extend too close to the cut edge. Trimming those materials back slightly can help the molding seat properly and provide a cleaner finished appearance.
Minor trimming may be required depending on cutout dimensions and installation methods. Always test fit prior to final installation.
