Replacing the Screen on Crank-Out Awning Windows

When removing the screen from crank-out awning windows, please note that the Velcro is very strong and covers most of the screen frame. Since the frame is made of aluminum, forcing it off can cause bending or damage.

To safely remove the screen, we recommend using a plastic putty knife or a flathead screwdriver to gently separate the Velcro without warping the frame.
