BUNK WINDOW COVERS INSTALLATION GUIDE
Step 1: Prepare the Surface
- Start by cleaning your window frame thoroughly with an Isopropyl alcohol wipe or similar cleaner to remove dust and debris. A clean surface ensures a strong adhesive bond.
Step 2: Position the Window Cover
- Hold the window cover up to the window frame and identify where the metal mounting tabs should be placed. The tabs need to align with the magnets inside the window cover trim.
Step 3: Secure the Metal Tabs
- Remove the backing from one side of the VHB tape on the metal tabs, then carefully stick them to the cleaned window frame, ensuring they align with the magnets.
- Important: Avoid touching the adhesive side of the tape, as oils from your hands can weaken the bond.
Step 4: Attach the Window Cover
- Finally, attach the window cover to the frame. The strong magnets will securely hold it in place.
