The VWD TL201-DS is the Ford Transit driver side forward window that gives you real airflow control where heat and condensation build up. Both panels slide independently so you can open the front, rear, or both for maximum ventilation. You also get 5 mm solar privacy glass with 12% UV transmission, an integrated bug screen, and an integrated retractable shade. Urethane bonded install for a sealed, factory-style finish.

Installation
This is a urethane bonded window. Prep the cutout, dry-fit, clean, prime, and set with automotive glass urethane. Tape and support during cure. Do not drive until the urethane has cured per the urethane manufacturer specs.
Ford Transit TL201 Installation Overview
Installing the TL201 driver-side forward windows requires removing a portion of the inner stamped sheet metal on Ford Transit Medium Roof and High Roof vans.
This installation overview applies to:
- TL201-AW – Premium Awning Window
- TL201-F – Fixed Glass Window
- TL201-SE – SE-Series Sliding Window
The general process is:
- Identify and carefully cut the required inner sheet metal from inside the van.
- File and deburr the cut edges to remove any sharp or raised areas.
- Prime or protect all freshly exposed steel.
- Install Trim-Lok edge molding over the finished sheet-metal edge.
- Dry-fit the window and verify clearance before applying automotive urethane.
- Urethane-bond the window in place and allow the adhesive to fully cure.
Important: Always verify the actual window and vehicle before cutting. The illustrated cut lines in our guide are for visual reference only, not an exact cutting template.
