Installation
This is a urethane-bonded window. Prep the cutout, dry-fit, clean, prime, and set with automotive glass urethane. Tape and support during cure. Do not drive until the urethane has cured per the urethane manufacturer's specs.

- Identify and carefully cut the required inner sheet metal from inside the sliding door when possible.
- File and deburr the cut edges so there are no sharp or raised areas.
- Prime or protect all freshly exposed steel.
- Install Trim-Lok edge molding over the finished sheet-metal edge.
- Clean all metal debris from the sliding door cavity.
- Dry-fit the actual SR101 window and verify complete clearance before applying automotive urethane.
- Verify sliding-door clearance and travel where aftermarket flares, capsules, or other exterior accessories are present.
- Urethane-bond the window in place and allow the adhesive to fully cure.
Important: Always verify the actual Sprinter configuration and exact SR101 window before cutting. The illustrated cut area is intended as a visual reference and not as an exact cutting template.

Can I use SR101-AW with the SR1034-EXT passenger-side bump-out?
These sliding-door windows are not recommended for straightforward installation with the SR1034-EXT passenger-side bump-out because their screen/shade assemblies or inner frames can reduce clearance. On 144" wheelbase Sprinters, and in some cases 170" wheelbase Sprinters, sliding-door bracket extensions, sliding-track spacers, and/or additional modifications may be required. Dry-fit the actual window and bump-out and check full sliding-door travel before bonding or final installation.
Which sliding-door windows are recommended for out-of-the-box installation with SR1034-EXT?
Choose SR101-F, SR101-SE, SR101-SES, or SR101-SER for out-of-the-box installation with the SR1034-EXT bump-out. Confirm the exact van configuration and dry-fit the parts to verify full sliding-door travel and clearance.
