Description

CRL FW625R Vent Window – Sprinter Passenger Side Sliding Door (2007-2026)

The sliding door is the highest-use wall section in a Sprinter. It is where people enter, stand, and spend time. A vent window in this position improves comfort by adding controlled airflow directly into the main living area.

The CRL FW625R is a vehicle-specific vent window designed for the passenger side sliding door of 2007-2026 Sprinter vans. It uses a traditional clamp-ring mounting system and a vent-opening design for adjustable ventilation.

Vehicle Fitment

  • Mercedes Sprinter 2007-2026
  • Passenger side sliding door location
  • High roof and low roof models
  • Vehicle-specific shape for Sprinter body stamping
  • Clamp-ring installation

Why A Sliding Door Vent Window Matters

A vent window on the sliding door introduces airflow where it is most usable. This location is effective for daily driving, camping comfort, and pairing with roof fans for intake airflow.

  • Adds ventilation to the primary living area
  • Improves cross-ventilation when paired with rear openings
  • Supports roof fan intake or exhaust strategies
  • Improves comfort without fully opening a large wall window

Vent Operation

  • Vent style opening for controlled airflow
  • Secure closure and seal compression when closed
  • Designed for camper van and passenger use

Solar Privacy Glass

  • Solar privacy tint
  • Reduces glare and interior heat
  • Maintains outward visibility

Clamp-Ring Installation

  • Interior compression mounting ring
  • No permanent bonding required
  • Serviceable installation method
  • Weather-tight compression sealing

VWD Alternative Upgrade Option

If you want a modern performance-focused option for the sliding door position, Van Windows Direct offers an upgraded alternative:

VWD Dual Vent Sprinter Sliding Door Window – SR101-DV (Passenger Side)

Biggest Differences: CRL FW625R vs VWD SR101-DV

  • Vent Layout: VWD SR101-DV is a dual vent rather than single vent
  • Glass Filtration: VWD offers better filtration for improved comfort and sun control
  • Hardware: VWD uses a better gearbox and torsion bar system for smoother operation
  • Warranty: VWD includes a 1-year warranty rather than 30 days

Choose the CRL FW625R if you prefer a traditional clamp-ring vent window. Choose the VWD SR101-DV if you want a dual-vent upgrade with higher performance hardware, improved glass filtration, and stronger warranty coverage.

    Its only ok

The window did not fit well and needed extra cutting beyond what was necessary. The screen makes a ticking noise, so I added a small piece of electrical tape. Air flo is only okay.

    RUN AWAY!!

I had a local upfitter here in Colorado who recommended this window. While I like the design, the screwed-on frame looks industrial and tacky, and I have already had to purchase over $300 in parts and haven't even had it for a year. When I called the place that did the work, I found out that these windows are often faulty, and I can look forward to many replacement parts. Van Windows Direct has helped walk us through how to fix it and gave us tips. I would recommend a different window from Van Windows Direct, and if your upfitter says to get this one, probably find a different upfitter.
