CRL (CR Laurence) continues its tradition of using the classic Clamp Ring installation method, developed in the 1970s, which relies on a factory urethane-bonded aluminum frame for a secure and stable fit.
This Dual-Vent window offers excellent ventilation, opening up to 45 degrees to allow fresh air while maintaining the van’s sleek, classic look. The pre-applied EPDM rubber seal compresses against the van’s outer wall, creating a reliable weather-tight seal. The vent glass also features an additional rubber seal, ensuring a tight closure when cranked shut, though minimal water entry may occur under high-pressure washing.
The fiberglass mesh screen, housed in a powder-coated aluminum frame, easily clips into the vent opening, providing convenient removal for cleaning. The gearbox and torsion bar system ensures smooth and effortless operation, allowing the vent glass to tilt out and retract seamlessly. The Clamp Ring installation method, attaching the window from the interior, secures the window firmly to the van’s sheet metal wall while providing a clean and finished look.
