The CRL Model Number FW398L Dual-Vent Window is a third-party aftermarket solution designed for the ProMaster Van. CRL (CR Laurence) stays true to its roots by using its classic Clamp Ring installation method, developed in the 1970s. The factory urethane-bonded aluminum frame serves as the main structure, ensuring a secure fit while providing a timeless appearance for your van.
The Dual-Vent design allows the window to tilt open up to 45 degrees for increased airflow, with an EPDM rubber seal that compresses against the outer wall for a weather-tight fit. While closed, the rubber seals around the vent glass help block moisture and air. The fiberglass mesh screen, set within a powder-coated aluminum frame, easily clips into place and can be removed for simple cleaning and maintenance.
The gearbox and torsion bar system control the smooth operation of the vent glass, providing effortless tilting. The interior clamp ring further secures the window, sandwiching the van’s sheet metal between the rubber seal and the aluminum frame on the outside and the clamp ring on the inside, ensuring a snug and secure fit.
