The CRL Model Number FW393L Dual-Vent Window is a third-party aftermarket solution designed for the ProMaster Van, covering both the 2nd and 3rd rows on the driver side (middle and rear quarter sections). CRL (CR Laurence) maintains its classic Clamp Ring installation method, originally developed in the 1970s, which uses a factory urethane-bonded aluminum frame as the primary structure of the window.
This window features a Dual-Vent design, allowing the vents to open up to 45 degrees for optimal airflow. The EPDM rubber seal is pre-applied to the aluminum frame to create a weather-tight fit once installed. The fiberglass mesh screen clips easily into the vent opening for effortless maintenance and cleaning.
The smooth operation of the vent glass is controlled by the gearbox and torsion bar system, allowing the vent glass to tilt in and out with ease. The clamp ring installation secures the window tightly, sandwiching the van’s sheet metal between the rubber seal and the aluminum frame on the exterior and the clamp ring on the interior.
