VWD AW Window Piston Shock & Handle Assemblies with Securing Knobs — Pair
Upgrade compatible VWD awning windows with this left/right pair of piston-shock and handle assemblies featuring securing knobs. Tighten the knobs to hold the shocks at the desired opening position. Each shock and handle is one integrated unit and comes together as a complete assembly. Includes one left-hand and one right-hand assembly.
The securing knobs add position control compared with the standard shock assemblies.
Fitment
- VWD OVR-AW3515 and OVR-AW4015 Overlander awning windows equipped with piston-style shocks only.
- VWD windows with a base SKU ending in -AW, equipped with the piston-shock assembly shown.
- Match the existing mechanism to the front and rear product photos before ordering.

Proper Lever Use
Place your pointer and middle fingers on opposite sides of the base post and pull from the base of the lever. Avoid pulling from the far end of the handle, which places extra stress on the mechanism.
After replacement, check that the handle operates smoothly and the window closes securely.
