The VWD Journal · SE Series
A productive morning can still have a beautiful backdrop.
Your workday does not have to feel the same in every parking space. Picture finishing a focused hour, looking up from the laptop, and seeing trees instead of another wall. The van is still your office, but the setting gives the day a different texture. A well-placed window can make the space you return to each morning feel personal, bright, and worth spending time in.

Bring daylight into the work zone
The TL201-SE is VWD's SE-Series half-slider for the driver-side forward position on listed Ford Transit Medium Roof and High Roof vans. If your desk or swivel-seat workspace sits nearby, that placement can give you a useful outside view without rearranging the whole interior.
The half-slider lets you choose a modest opening during a parked work session. Its built-in insect screen supports ventilation while helping keep insects out, and solar privacy glass complements a clean, finished exterior. Screen visibility and glare still depend on sun angle, so test your laptop position at different times of day.

Design for the moment you look up
Set a temporary desktop at the height you expect to use. Sit down, open the laptop, and notice what you see beyond it. Keep the window controls within reach and allow space for the screen to operate. This is a chance to make the desk feel like part of a living space rather than a workstation squeezed into a corner.
Think about the rest of the day, too. A compact lamp, a comfortable seat, and a place to put your coffee help the same area transition from a morning meeting to an afternoon of planning the next stop. For calls, choose your parking location with sound and connectivity in mind.
A better break between tasks
When conditions are pleasant, adjust the vent, stretch your shoulders, and give your eyes a distant point to rest on. Air movement will vary with the weather and other openings in the van, but being able to tune the space is part of its appeal.
At the end of the workday, close the laptop and let the view become the evening's entertainment. You have not changed rooms. You have simply given the room another purpose—and a reason to feel happy about where you parked.
