The VWD Journal · Double Slider
The miles are part of the story. So are the places you pause.
A road trip becomes memorable in the spaces between destinations: a picnic after a winding drive, a view you notice from a legal pullout, an unplanned hour with nowhere urgent to be. Your ProMaster can make those pauses feel wonderfully comfortable. With a window beside the living area, even a simple sandwich gets a setting worth remembering.

Make the sliding-door side a place to gather
The RR301-DS is a Double-Sliding window for the passenger sliding door on listed RAM ProMaster configurations. Dual sliding panels provide adjustable ventilation, while the retractable insect screen and pleated privacy shade help the space shift from a bright lunch stop to a more private rest.
The solar privacy tempered glass and urethane-bonded installation support a clean, cohesive exterior. For the interior, the opportunity is to place the everyday table or seating area where the window is useful at the times you use the van most.
Plan the lunch-stop routine
Imagine arriving, parking, and making lunch. Where does the food go? Can you sit comfortably with a view? Can you reach the controls without moving the whole table? A quick mock-up can answer those questions before the cabinets are finished.
Check the sliding door's travel and any aftermarket flares against the product's compatibility guidance. When parked in suitable conditions, use the panels to adjust the opening and another suitable ventilation point to support airflow through the room. The weather will determine the breeze; the layout determines how easily you can make use of it.
Enjoy the road from a comfortable seat
On-road travel has its own pleasures: finding a new town, following a scenic route, taking the long way because the afternoon is yours. A welcoming van gives you a reliable place to pause along that route. The window keeps the outside visible while you enjoy the small comforts you brought with you.
Follow the care instructions and secure the sliders before driving. Then the same seat, table, and window can become a familiar little ritual from one region to the next, each stop with a completely different view.
