Where to Put Camper Van Windows for Airflow and Privacy

Window placement should follow the way you use the van. A bed, kitchen, desk and passenger seat have different needs for daylight, privacy and access to fresh air.

Think about an airflow path through the occupied space, the reach to controls and the wall area needed for cabinetry. Ventilation can help manage moisture, but window placement alone cannot eliminate condensation.

Plan the window set before cutting

Mark the bed, kitchen, seats and storage on the interior layout. Compare where you want a view with the places that need access to fresh air, then account for controls, screens and wall finishing.
